I am going to be on Lake Lewisville this weekend and am looking for some advice on catching some sandies.
Do I troll? How fast? How Deep?
Look for birds then use slabs, top water, small spinners?
Thanks for any advice you are willing to share. |

I just use the human fish finder (all the boats in one place) and go there. If not, you will see them schooling. I always have good luck on either side of the dam.
I either toss a slab or top water. White or other bright colors have been doing the trick for me lately.
Ill be out on Friday morning, there should be plenty of boats to figure out where theyre hitting. |

Should I start at daybreak or is later in the morning better? What about midday to evening? |

| I've had the best luck in the morning. I've definitely seen them schooling in the evening, but I haven't ever headed out to fish them at that time yet. |
