Right about now I am guessing they are in about 10-16 ft of water on brush or rocks on drop offs. Thats where I have found them the most about this time of the year and all the way through fall before the water temps start to drastically fall sending them back to the shallows on one last feeding frenzy before Ol Man Winter starts to get a grip on things. One locations like the one discribed about they are usually stacked up like Sardines in a can and bite quiet readily. In fact minnows got to be so expensive I broke down and taught myself how to jig for them! _________________ Just making this world a better place...one bomb at a time!

I have been picking up a few nightly here at Eagle Point Marina at night around the lights on docks that are close to land. Most have been right at about 10-11 inches with an occasional slab here and there. Most of them I have hooked on tiny tube jigs trying to catch sunfish for live catfish bait. There are a gazillion 1 inch minnows around the marina and I guess they are fattening up on them. _________________ Just making this world a better place...one bomb at a time!
