anyone catching them anywhere in LL?

I will be out on Wednesday on a boat and wanted to see if anyone can give me some pointers on where and how they are reacting. Any advise would help as this will be my first time out on a boat going after crappie. I heard the 35 bridge pillers are producing but dont know how deep or what bait. I will try minnows and hopefully they bite. Thanks in advance guys. Also are the sandbass still under the birds if I go after them? I have 4'' sassy shad on green jig heads that have worked for me on the banks but will try on open waters.
